Cigars To Be Reclassifed As Cigarettes In NY

The Heartland Institute reports that Eliot Spitzer has proposed "redefining little cigars as cigarettes." Why? It's the taxes stupid! (We here at Today's Cigar Reviews and News would like to apologize for that, we don't think you're stupid. In fact, we think you're both smart and attractive.)

The good news is this proposal is likely to go no where with Spitzer I.D.'ed as brothel patron #9 today. (Hear that? That's us laughing evilly.)

Cigarette Bans Driving Women To Cigarillos

The Guardian reports: "The ban on cigarette advertising has had other effects on the type of tobacco products that people buy. Some smokers, say the experts, have taken the view that if they have less time to smoke they will smoke fewer but they choose products that are of a higher premium."
